In accordance with the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly No. 47/3 of October 14, 1992, December 3 is celebrated worldwide as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Its purpose is to promote the rights of disabled people in all spheres of society, as well as to draw public attention to the problems of disabled people.
