✔️ Based on the control sheet No. 27/2-413 of the Department of Social Development of the Secretariat of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 14, 2024, and the joint resolution No. 2/2 of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Defense and Security Issues and the Committee on Science, Education and Healthcare dated November 29, 2024, a round table discussion on the topic "Prevention of Iodine Deficiency Disease" was held on January 20 of this year at the "Students' Dormitory" of the International Innovative University.

✔️ During the event, the doctor of the dispensary department of the Kashkadarya branch of the RID and KIATM Kh. Toshmurodov gave his recommendations on the prevention of iodine deficiency. He explained the importance of iodine for the body, the diseases that occur as a result of its deficiency, and emphasized the importance of consuming iodine-rich foods, as well as iodine supplements.
