As a result of the ongoing cooperation with prestigious foreign higher education institutions, on March 25 of this year, the Director of the Research Department of Ataturk State University of Turkey, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Husayn Boydemir, gave a lecture on the topic of "Folk Epics" on Uzbek folklore to 1st-year students of the Department of Philology and Language Teaching (Uzbek language) at the International Innovation University on the topic of "Folk Epics".
🎓 This lecture touched upon the current issues in the folklore of all Turkic peoples, Uzbek and Turkish folklore, and the lexicon of epics. The scientist also provided information about historical epics in their countries and emphasized the importance of studying and intensifying the images of the common folk oral creativity of all Turkic peoples.
📚 Since the issue of a unified system of images has been raised among Turkic states, they also shared their opinions on what kind of idea this is, what it serves, why it is needed, how viable it is, and how important it is in the development of Uzbek folk oral literature and culture.
🔆 The lessons taught by Professor Husayn Boydemir aroused great interest among students and professors.
